Torn Paper Turkeys

We used:
manila stock card paper
a glue stick
a stack of old magazine

• Begin by tearing out large strips of colorful prints for the feathers from your magazine. Begin with bigger pieces and later work on tearing smaller pieces to shape strips into a feather.
• Look for browns to use for the body and head.
• Glue the feathers down first.
• Then glue the body, head, feet and face.

Tearing paper is a great way to strengthen fine motor skills.
