Coffee Filter Window Flowers

coffee filter crafts, flower crafts for kids, window flower crafts for kids

Coffee filters aren't just for butterflies. We made colorful flowers out of coffee filters and placed in a sunny window.

You will need:
coffee filters
watercolor palette, markers and spray bottle with water or pipette, or dobber markers
scissors
green paper
transparent tape

First we colored our coffee filters just as we did for our rainy day umbrellas.

For one filter we used markers and sprayed a tiny bit of water to mix the colors.

For others we used dobber markers and blended with a small amount of water.
We also used straight colors from a watercolor palette .

Air dry the colored filters.

Fold the filter in half 4-5 times.

Place some tape on the back side of the flower. We used double sided.
Cut some stems out of green paper and attach everything to the window.
