In our immediate shopping area, finding multiple sheets of white foam proved to be a challenge.
Instead, we used white stock card paper and self-adhesive foam shapes and threw in some crayons for good measure.
Supplies you will need:
stock card paper
self-adhesive foam sheets, cut into shapes
This activity was enjoyed by the children at play group who were ages 1-4 years. Older children would also enjoy this activity as it would allow them to create more complicated patterns and figures with the geometric shapes.
Great fine motor practice peeling the wax paper off the back.
Parents helped the younger children by starting to peel back the paper or peeling it off entirely if needed. Taping the egg shaped paper in place was also helpful for the younger children.
The adults enjoyed decorating their own eggs too!
