Easy Holiday Prints

This activity is adaptable to any skill level. Adults or children who can complete a representational drawing can set up the print. Younger children will enjoy adding paint to the print block, pressing onto paper and watching the picture appear.

This activity will even work if the picture on the print block is a pre-representational, giving it an abstract quality.

You will need:
stryofoam board (ours was biodegradable from a fresh corn tray)
pencil
paint
paintbrush
paper (we used stock card)

• Cut blocks from stryrofoam tray.
• Draw a design with pencil.
• Paint across the print block.
• Press paper onto print block or press print block onto paper.
