High-flying Paper Airplane

Here is an oldie but goodie....

All you need is a sheet of paper 8 1/2 x 11.

Use a piece of paper out of your recycle bin and make this a "green" project.

Fold your paper from the top right corner and line it up with the left edge.

  

Now you have a triangle shape.

Take angle "A" and fold over to meet angle "B".

Fold "A" to "B".

 

Fold in half

Fold on both sides 1/2-3/4 inche from "spine".



Turn onto back side and staple near the top of the fold.

Cut near back of spine fold about 1/2-3/4 of an inch from the end.
Invert the cut piece so it sticks out of top- serving as the tail.
Fold the wings about 1/2-3/4 inch on each side.

Name your airplane and write her name on the side.

Take her for a few test flights!
