Torn Paper Apples on a Plate

Today at playgroup we needed a quick and easy, seasonal craft and we found just what we needed at ABC Creative Learning.

You will need:
white paper plates (or red plates, paperboard or any stiff paper cut in a round shape)
red paper
green paper
brown paper
scissors (optional)
glue
Depending upon their developmental level and interest, have children either cut or tear red paper into pieces and glue on the plate until most of the white area is covered. When the are finished they can add a stem and leaf.

We also enjoyed plenty of other fruits in this amazing fruit tray prepared by our playgroup partner, Alpine County Behavioral Health. It was a fun way to present fruit to the children!
