Easy Aluminum Foil Ornaments

This is an easy and very inexpensive way to create beautiful, shiny ornaments and is accessible to young children. This craft activity is courtesy of the preschool classroom and the Early Learning Center in Alpine County.

You will need:
Various shapes of cut paperboard (use empty food boxes)
Aluminum foil
Embellishments such as foam shapes, stickers, sequins, buttons, etc.
Pipecleaner or ribbon

Provide children sheets of aluminum foil large enough to cover their paperboard shapes.
Glue on embellishments.
Adults can use a sharp object to create a hole for hanging.
Insert pipecleaner or ribbon and hang.
