January 2013 Referral Data

This data was taken from parents calling to request child care referrals to our offices during the month of January 2013.

    The second parenting style is the indulgent parent. These parents are generally lenient. They allow a variety of behaviours by their children that some would describe as immature.

    Permissive parenting involves love and nurturing but does not set clear expectations for behavior. Children need clear expectations, which helps meetstheir emotional need to feel secure and helps them develop self-discipline and self-regulation.
