Craft Punch Eggs

spring kids crafts, craft punch activities, easter egg crafts for kids

You will need:
colored paper with "spring" colors (We used colored copy paper and construction paper)
craft punches (Use a regular hole punch if you don't have craft punches)
craft scissors
regular scissors
pencil
glue

We traced an egg shape on various colors of papers and cut them out.
We made some eggs small (4 1/4 inch high) and others taller (10 1/2 inches taller).

Craft scissors and punches provide a high level of interest to children and help develop fine motor skills and strength. Craft scissors provide a greater amount of "feedback" to the hand over regular scissors- and they leave visually appealing marks.

For the large eggs, fold the paper over. You will get to punch holes for each punch. Glue onto a sheet of paper with a contrasting color for visual appeal.
